Scott was the heart of the iSchool. I certainly don’t and I’m sure not many truly know how involved he was in the development of the program. But one I personally know about was his crucial role in getting the Women in Informatics student organization started. He was an avid and passionate supporter of all students. He was always a cheerful and friendly face in the hallways who would always greet you. Those who knew him will miss him dearly and future students will miss the opportunity to have known him, but we can all acknowledge the impact he made.
